This spacious 2 bedroom / 1.5 bathroom home of more than 1,200 square feet, three balconies & a private, secure garage. Surf Passage has all the comforts of home plus some amenities you would never expect to find in a vacation rental. The updated gourmet kitchen has shining stainless steel Viking appliances and granite countertops. The open floor plan provides ocean views from the living room, dining room and kitchen! Open the sliding glass doors to fill the house with a cool ocean breeze. Pick up a bag of marshmallows and roast them over the fire pit on your balcony to make Smores. Grab the wagon full of beach gear (chairs, umbrella, toys, boogie boards, volleyball) and spend the perfect day at the beach.

A bright and airy master retreat has vaulted ceilings, a beach view balcony and a separate loft with two twin beds and its own peak-a-boo view to the sea. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen and twin bed, vaulted ceiling and has its own private balcony. The main bathroom is situated between the two bedrooms and has a large, newly tiled shower and plenty of storage space. A convenient powder room is located on the main living floor. Please let us know if you require additional furniture for your baby or infant. We can provide a baby crib or a twin-size inflatable air mattress & a highchair, for a one time $25 setup fee.

Surf Passage is across the road from the beach in “Seacoast Villas” a small complex with 10 townhomes. Each property has its own private garage with direct access to the individual units – guests can also access their unit from the second floor common area.

Stop by the Surf Hut (right across the street from Seacoast Villas) to rent surfboards, stand-up paddle boards, wetsuit, fins and bikes. Plus there are plenty more shops & restaurants along Palm Ave. Take a walk along the pier to gain a different perspective of the surfers and unrivaled views of San Diego: from Point Loma to Mexico. Extending almost 1,500 feet into the sea, the Imperial Beach Pier is also a great place to spot whales and dolphins swimming by just off-shore, or to try your luck fishing (BONUS: a license is not required for Pier fishing).

In addition to all the wonderful things San Diego and surrounding area have to offer, this condo is fabulous! We are from a small town in SC and the imperial beach area is very family friendly and we felt very safe to walk the area with our 2 young children. The beach is just steps away and you get amazing views from 2 balconies! The balconies were overlooking the Main Street and I was a little concerned about noise late at night, but all the shops close down by 9 or 10pm and we were left with very peaceful nights. Everything was well stocked and they provided so many more extras on top of the normal necessities. From beach chairs and toys, to shampoo/conditioner, and any tools you need to cook a family feast! They even had laundry detergent and dryer sheets for our use!! We were also greeted with a lovely welcome basket full of goodies and a info book with everything we needed to know about the area and condo. Hands down our best family vacation to date! We hope to visit again and will not hesitate to book one of their properties again!

This is in the best location. Imperial Beach is beautiful and is one of the least crowded beaches we've been to. One of the best kept secrets of Southern California. The locals were super friendly. The condo itself let in a lot of natural light and the wonderful ocean breeze. There were many amenities within walking distance of the condo; restaurants, liquor stores, grocery stores, as well as a couple bars. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The house was located with a beautiful view of the ocean. The trip to the beach was only a short block away, the rooms where nice and clean. This is a great location that provides the best of both worlds. Imperial beach is quite lovely. It is fun and has several nice restaurants very close to the condo. It is also very quiet and relaxing. The contact to the home owner was really fast and friendly. Problems are fixed extremly fast and with complete satisfaction. Its possible to communicate by mail or SMS with the rental team and they find always a perfect solution.

The house's location in Imperial Beach is very nice. You only have to cross the street to get to the beach and some small shops. The beach is not that overrun like other places in San Diego. It fit perfectly for us. The house itself is very modern and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and we really liked cooking there. The living room has a large Samsung Smart TV with a big variety of channels. There is also a Blu-Ray player with that you can access Netflix (if you have an account). In addition there is a BOSE sound system for Apple Airplay. WLAN was fast and everywhere in the house accessible. The living room has a fireplace the heated the room quite well. Furthermore the balcony has a fire pit run by gas that provided a nice atmosphere in the evening. Down in the garage were an additional refrigerator, a large washing machine and a large dryer. Everything was working perfectly. In the garage could stand one car, even a huge pickup (Ford 150). There were some beach-chairs, balls, sand molds, boccia and a sun umbrella provided. The contact to the home owner was really fast and friendly. Problems are fixed extremly fast and with complete satisfaction. Its possible to communicate by mail or SMS with the rental team and they find always a perfect solution. We really enjoyed our stay at Surf Passage!

Notes

Standard Fees

  • $250 Turnover Service Fee: The turnover service fee includes housekeeping, laundry, inspections, restocking guest supplies and administrative costs.
  • $200 Refundable Security Deposit: The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days of departure less any damages not covered by our Accidental Damage Protection.
  • 10% Transient Occupancy Tax: the mandatory city tax is applied to rent and fees. The tax is waived from the rental rate for reservations of 30 nights or longer

Optional Fees

  • Extra Guest Fees: The nightly rate is based on 4 guests. Additional guests (up to 7) will be charged $25/night
  • Baby Furniture (baby crib and high chair) can be rented for a one-time set up fee of $25 + tax
  • Additional "Mid-Stay" Housekeeping Service is available for $100
If Available:
  • Guaranteed Early Check-In can be added for 50% of the nightly rental rate. This allows you to arrive as early as 8 AM (versus the standard check-in time of 4 PM)
  • Guaranteed Late Check-Out can be added for 50% of the nightly rental rate. This allows you to extend your departure until 6PM (versus the standard check-out time of 10 AM) 

Payment

  • Reservations booked within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
  • Reservations booked more than 30 days in advance, require a 50% advance deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Payment can be made online by credit card -- contact us for other payment options.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be in writing. There shall be no refunds due to shortened stays or ruined expectations caused by weather conditions, work and family emergencies, or other commitments. 
   •    100% refund (less $100 re-listing fee) for cancellations made 60+ days prior to arrival
   •    50% refund of the advance deposit for cancellations made 30-60 days of arrival
   •    No refund on cancellations made up to 30 days of arrival

Optional TRAVEL INSURANCE can protect your vacation investment from unforeseen circumstances if you to cancel your trip or experience travel delays, lost luggage, or medical emergencies.
