This gorgeous, two bedroom townhouse in Imperial Beach has it all! The bright and airy floor plan provides terrific beach views and cool ocean breezes in a spectacular corner unit at Seacoast Villas, just across the street from the beach. The main floor has fantastic ocean views from the fully stocked kitchen, the dining room and the newly updated living room. Open the windows and step out on your ocean view balcony and flood the house with the cool ocean air. On those rare, cool evenings, you'll appreciate the gas fireplace You'll also find a convenient powder room on the main floor.

You'll be able to stay connected in your "home away from home" -- Ocean Breeze has super high-speed Wi-Fi Internet and Premium Cable with on-demand streaming of your favorite episodes and movies, including HBO, Showtime and Cinemax. The state-of-the-art remote control allows you to search for programs or channels using voice commands -- you won't have to study the channel line up, just search by voice the channels and programs you want to watch.

Upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms, each furnished with queen beds and the main bathroom with a luxurious marble tiled shower/tub combo. Above the master bedroom is a sleeping loft with two twin beds. Plus, guests have the convenience of off-street parking in a private, secure garage, equipped with new front load washer & dryer. Beach lovers will find a red Radio Flyer wagon stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, beach towels and an umbrella.

Imperial Beach is one of the last remaining, “Classic Southern California” beach towns --  great for families with kids or those wanting to relax in a low-key environment without a worry in the world. Walk along the beach collecting shells and sand dollars – or stroll along Seacoast Drive for a walking tour of some pretty cool public art installations. Join a game of beach volleyball or grab an ice cream cone and meander out along the wooden pier to watch the surfers and locals fishing for dinner. We had a fantastic time staying a week at Ocean Breeze. The property is perfect for families, especially those (like ours) with young children. Ocean Breeze's location is just terrific - a mere half a block from the beach. Terrific views of the ocean from the house, even from the dining room table. There are 4 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, and other beach toys. The house itself is clean and welcoming, with a fully stocked kitchen and cable TV with extra packages (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax) and the fanciest voice control remote I've seen. The surrounding neighborhood is extremely walkable, with excellent and affordable food options (Thai, tacos, pizza, sandwiches/smoothies, bars) a 3 min walk away. I highly recommend a stay at this delightful property. We would happily rate the whole experience: 5 stars!

Great beach get away. Corner unit one block from the beach, with a spectacular view of the beach and the business district near the beach. Three story unit with a garage has everything. It is very clean and modern looking. Imperial Beach is probably the best beach in the San Diego area. It is very kickback. At night, it is quiet so you can leave the sliding doors open and sleep to the sound of the ocean waves. We had a wonderful experience with our vacation there. I definitely want to go back sometime.

While looking for a place to stay during a last minute family emergency, I wanted something that was walking distance to the beach, privacy for myself and my grandparents, and a place to enjoy 4 days visiting with family. We had a late night arrival, but the condo was set up and easy to access without any issues. There were fresh tulips on the table, and a basket of goodies that tied us over until I could walk to the market in the morning. Kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed for the stay and the furniture was clean and comfortable! Pros: -Lots of mirrors in the bedrooms and bathroom areas! Definitely a plus if you've ever stayed in a rental that lacked mirrors! -Having a bathroom upstairs and downstairs added for privacy if needed -View was awesome, many mornings and evenings spent sitting on the patio with coffee or wine enjoying the view -all the furniture was very comfortable and relaxing, including the beds -We didn't have a car, but our family that visited us there did, so parking in the garage was really nice Cons: -The upstairs tub drain wouldn't seal which wouldn't allow my grandma to take a bath, but after alerting the rental company, should be fixed. -there's a step down from the kitchen to the living area and my elderly grandpa fell a couple times (i'm sure more due to his lack of memory than it actually being "dangerous"), but there's a rug at the bottom that should help point it out. Perhaps a piece of trim or something that helps make the step stand out...? -Lots of stairs, which is fine if your my age, but if you're elderly, it may cause issues... -As other renters noticed, the street noise can be annoying, especially with loud motorcycles going through. BUT if all the doors are shut, it actually blocks a lot of the noise. -the instructions indicated that the recycle bins were in the alley. I assumed that meant the alley behind the condo, but the home association president pointed out they were in the back of the garage area, not next to the dumpster. We got the recycle put in, but it took us a bit to find it.

We can't say enough kind words about the owners/managers. We had a couple small hiccups with the boogie boards and grill, and they were absolutely exceptional at resolving the issues quickly. The location of Ocean Breeze is second to none. The view of the ocean from the two patios is 100% accurate. The beach is really that close! Our internal clocks were on CST so we enjoyed taking the SHORT walk to the beach each morning to crash the waves on the boogie boards (provided), then we made sure to return each evening to watch the colorful sunsets. Be sure to bring your camera because you will want to remember the beauty of the sky, waves of the ocean, and more. We definitely recommend taking the short walk to Coronado Brewery Co., IB Tacos and IB Pizza. The food was affordable and definitely worth it. We also loved visiting with the kind locals who were so friendly and helpful. Our family of 4 enjoyed the convenient location of the property, the safety of the garage parking, the comfort of the condo, access to laundry, the beach chairs/toys, and kitchen amenities. With the windows open at night, be prepared for quite a bit of street noise. Earplugs might be helpful if you are a light sleeper. We visited both Vons and Wally's grocery stores, and while I prefer to shop locally owned stores...we found Vons to be a better stocked.

Notes

Standard Fees

  • $225 Turnover Service Fee: The turnover service fee includes housekeeping, laundry, inspections, restocking guest supplies and administrative costs.
  • $200 Refundable Security Deposit: Collected for reservations booked through HomeAway/VRBO, Flipkey/TripAdvisor or Airbnb -- security deposit will be refunded within 7 days of departure less any damages not covered by our Accidental Damage Protection.
  • 10% Transient Occupancy Tax: the mandatory city tax is applied to rent and fees. The tax is waived from the rental rate for reservations of 30 nights or longer

Optional Fees

  • Baby Furniture (baby crib and high chair) can be rented for a one-time delivery fee of $25 + tax
  • Additional "Mid-Stay" Housekeeping Service is available for $100
If Available:
  • Guaranteed Early Check-In can be added for 50% of the nightly rental rate. This allows you to arrive as early as 8 AM (versus the standard check-in time of 4 PM)
  • Guaranteed Late Check-Out can be added for 50% of the nightly rental rate. This allows you to extend your departure until 6PM (versus the standard check-out time of 10 AM) 

Payment

  • Reservations booked within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
  • Reservations booked more than 30 days in advance, require a 50% advance deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Payment can be made online by credit card, debit card or e-check. Contact us for other payment options.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be in writing. There shall be no refunds due to shortened stays or ruined expectations caused by weather conditions, work and family emergencies, or other commitments. 
   •    100% refund (less $100 re-listing fee) for cancellations made 60+ days prior to arrival
   •    50% refund of the advance deposit for cancellations made 30-60 days of arrival
   •    No refund on cancellations made up to 30 days of arrival

Optional TRAVEL INSURANCE can protect your vacation investment from unforeseen circumstances if you to cancel your trip or experience travel delays, lost luggage, or medical emergencies.
