This spacious "ocean view" townhouse has more than 1,200 square feet and is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your perfect beach holiday.

IB Coasting boasts two bedrooms (each with a king bed) plus a sleeping loft (queen bed) to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. Located in the same complex as other three vacation rentals in Imperial Beach, IB Coasting is just 500 feet to the beach. You'll enjoy ocean views from the living room, master bedroom and two balconies!

The kitchen has been updated with brand new stainless appliances and granite countertops and is open to the dining area, living room and main floor balcony. A "high-top" dining table has seating for four, plus there is a breakfast bar with 2 stools. There is also a brand new BBQ on the balcony off the living room. After a long day at the beach, spend the evening watching the sunset then relaxing on the uber comfortable reclining sofa and love seat -- quite possibly, the most comfortable you'll ever experience!!

The living room has a wide screen TV with 300+ cable channels (including a few movie channels) and "smart TV" adapter for streaming movies from your Amazon, HULU or NetFlix Accounts - plus there is complimentary high speed internet via Wi-Fi to stay connected.

Both bathrooms have been remodeled: the main bathroom (with large shower) is located upstairs between the two bedrooms and there is also a convenient half bathroom on main living floor. You will also appreciate a private 1 car garage on the ground floor which is furnished with a clothes washer and dryer.

Experience a “Peaceful Easy Feeling” that won't let you down Imperial Beach is like no other -- a throwback to a simpler, southern California beach town of days gone by, with miles of uncrowded, white sand beaches, magnificent views of the Coronado Islands and the downtown San Diego skyline. Imperial Beach (IB) is laid back, unpretentious and has a wonderful, “small town” vibe. You'll find everything you need within a short walk along the seacoast – beachfront parks with picnic tables and barbeques, a weekly farmer’s market (every Friday), beach volleyball nets, restaurants, waffle-cone ice cream, and retail shops. Stop by the Surf Hut (right across the street from Seacoast Villas) to rent surfboards, stand-up paddle boards, wetsuit, fins and bikes. Plus there are plenty more shops & restaurants along Palm Ave. Take a walk along the pier to gain a different perspective of the surfers and unrivaled views of San Diego: from Point Loma to Mexico. Extending almost 1,500 feet into the sea, the Imperial Beach Pier is also a great place to spot whales and dolphins swimming by just off-shore, or to try your luck fishing (BONUS: a license is not required for Pier fishing).

I can't say enough about our whole experience. IB Coasting is the perfect place for a getaway or a temporary living situation! The cherry on top is the simple booking process and being able to communicate very easily with Cindy, Birgit and Paula. They are wonderful and very accommodating. They sure know how to keep a guest happy. I am 100% satisfied and highly recommend IB Coasting.
The condo is beautifully themed and decorated. Plenty of space, very clean, comfy, and includes a full kitchen and washer and dryer. It's steps away from the beach, and near restaurants and bars. I have 2 young kids and they love the playground that is across the street. In the garage, I was pleasantly surprised to find all the things you can take with you to the beach - beach toys, chairs, towels, surfboards, bodyboards and more! We loved staying here! The size was just right for us! We rent a beach house/condo every summer and this one was the best so far. We didn't know up front that it came with the wagon and the body boards since it wasn't in the pictures so that was a great plus to find out. The rooms were nice size for all of us. My 13 year old daughter slept in the loft above my bed room and loved it she thought it was so neat. The view of the ocean is small but it was nice to wake up and see the ocean. The street view is cool though lots of tourists walking around. We walked to the beach every day and we could see the condo from the beach and it was so easy to walk back to grab lunch. We brought food to cook meals and plenty of drinks and snacks so it was nice that there was a dishwasher and huge fridge and ice maker. The only drawback was a there was no A/C. I get it your by the beach and you want the windows open but it gets HOT in the upstairs bed rooms. HOT. One of the rentals in this same building has no view but has a/c so you might want to consider that one if you like a/c. The garage access is handy - NO driving around looking for parking and its big so you can unload everybody and your stuff. The grill outside was nice too, grilled outside our first night and watched the town go by except the patio chairs don't have cushions. There was also a crockpot and a waffle maker I didn't know about and I put to use while there too. Like I said I came with food because I didn't want to eat out and we had a good time and enjoyed the place a lot. Thanks for sharing it with us!!

My family of 5 (3 children ages 8, 6, and 3) stayed here just before Christmas. It was completely perfect. It had all the beds and space that we needed. The private garage is SUCH a huge bonus! We have a medium-sized SUV and it fit perfectly. 5 star rating!!

The managers were efficient, responsive, and made sure we had the information needed. They also checked in after we left to see if the property met our needs or needed attention.
Just what was needed Booked last minute for extra members of a family reunion, everything worked out great. Walk straight to the beach with beach toys in tow. Standard Fees

  • $225 Turnover Service Fee: The turnover service fee includes housekeeping, laundry, inspections, restocking guest supplies and administrative costs.
  • $200 Refundable Security Deposit: The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days of departure less any damages not covered by our Accidental Damage Protection.
  • 10% Transient Occupancy Tax: the mandatory city tax is applied to rent and fees. The tax is waived from the rental rate for reservations of 30 nights or longer

Optional Fees

  • Extra Guest Fees: The nightly rate is based on 4 guests. Additional guests will be charged $25/night
  • Baby Furniture: a baby crib and high chair can be rented for a flat fee of $25 + 10% tax ($27.50). The baby furniture rental does not include sheets for the crib.  Parents are encouraged to bring their own, Graco Playard sized sheets (27" x 39").
  • Additional "Mid-Stay" Housekeeping Service is available for $100
If Available:
  • Guaranteed Early Check-In can be added for 50% of the nightly rental rate. This allows you to arrive as early as 8 AM (versus the standard check-in time of 4 PM)
  • Guaranteed Late Check-Out can be added for 50% of the nightly rental rate. This allows you to extend your departure until 6PM (versus the standard check-out time of 10 AM) 


  • Reservations booked within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
  • Reservations booked more than 30 days in advance, require a 50% advance deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Payment can be made online by credit card -- contact us for other payment options.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be in writing. There shall be no refunds due to shortened stays or ruined expectations caused by weather conditions, work and family emergencies, or other commitments. 
   •    100% refund (less $100 re-listing fee) for cancellations made 60+ days prior to arrival
   •    50% refund of the advance deposit for cancellations made 30-60 days of arrival
   •    No refund on cancellations made up to 30 days of arrival

Optional TRAVEL INSURANCE can protect your vacation investment from unforeseen circumstances if you to cancel your trip or experience travel delays, lost luggage, or medical emergencies.
